Crack Pioneer Press graphic artist (and my pal) David Steinlicht goes crop art-crazy for the Minnesota State Fair every year, laboring on some pretty amazing creations, and documenting his work from start to finish on a blog.

I really like his entry (it’s a working clock with a crop-art facade) for this year’s State Fair. He won in his “natural colors, advanced” category!
