The first-ever Minnesota bloggercon is on (and I’m a speaker)!

Mbclogofinal

I so like to blog. I love to blog so much that I have six blogs (with more surely to come). They do not all get the same amount of attention, of course, but each has its well-defined role. They all matter.

I expound on my blogging passion — perhaps the right word is “addiction” — in this post.

It’s on the Minnesota Blogger Conference site ahead of the group’s first-ever, already-sold-out event in downtown St. Paul on Saturday.

Kudos to Arik HansonMelissa Berggren and others for organizing this exciting event, and to WCCOOlson and TopRank Online Marketing for stepping up to sponsor.

I’m a speaker at the bloggercon. My session at 10:30 a.m. will focus on tools that make blogging easier and more enjoyable. These include Posterous, Tumblr, Squarespace and Markdown.

Rather than blather on all by myself, I’ll bring in special guests. These include (via Skype) famed podcaster and Squarespace proponent Leo Laporte; Posterous co-founder Garry Tan (also via Skype); and my friend and fellow St. Paulite, Patrick Rhone, author of the popular, Tumblr-based Minimal Mac blog (among other tumblelogs).

The bloggercon is sold out, as I said, but I believe some sessions will be streamed. I’ll update this post when I get details on that angle.
