‘Enough,’ the ‘Minimal Mac‘ podcast, is on a short list of must-listen shows in my iTunes queue.
Spare in approach, with no annoying music at the beginning, and consisting simply of a conversation between co-hosts Patrick Rhone (photo above) and Myke Hurley, the show never fails to give me vital lessons in minimalism, Mac-related and otherwise.
As one who aspires to continually remove friction from all aspects of my life, I can’t overstate how raptly I listen to this show in the evening as I’m washing the dishes. (The mellifluousness of my pal Patrick’s voice is an added plus.)
So I was honored to be on the podcast recently. Patrick and I live near each other, so I had the pleasure of sharing a microphone with him in his third-floor office while we chatted with Myke, who is across the pond.
To my surprise and delight, I was even deemed worthy of a two-parter — that is, an extra-long conversation broken into two podcast episodes, with each tackling a different topic.
Part one (iTunes link) delves into my iPad book and other high-tech topics.
Part two delves into minimalism, and how I have increasingly aspired to a simplified state after a slovenly existence early in my adult life.
Thanks for having me on, guys. You made my year.
