I was a morning speaker at the third Minnesota Bloggers Conference, held today in Minneapolis. I spoke about Google+ and the Google social network’s potential as a blogging platform.
That’s why I’m holding up a Google+ book by Guy Kawasaki, the famed writer and venture capitalist, who blogs almost exclusively on Google+.
In the second and third shots, I’m using an iPhone 5 to take pictures of the event’s opening session.
My coworker Ryan Husckha, TwinCities.com general manager (and a fellow nerd), can be seen in those two shots as he spoke to the open-session crowd (while giving me a bit of grief for my gadget geekiness). You can also see Ryan here and here.
In the subsequent photos, I’m bringing famed tech columnist and blogger Mike Elgan into my session via Google+ Hangout videoconferencing, which went pretty well. Elgan, who lives in Greece, also is all-in with Google+ for blogging.
Kudos to the Minnesota Bloggers Conference organizers for putting on a killer event.
