A perfect New Year’s at homes of friends

I’m all for skipping big, loud New Year’s Eve parties and having a quiet evening with friends, and that is exactly what happened last night.

In fact, my wife, son and I were welcomed into two homes of dear friends – and this was the perfect way to usher in the new year.
