As a guy who grew up on a steady diet of science-fiction novels and superhero comics, I was thrilled to hit Wizard World Comic Con in Minneapolis (twice) over the weekend.
The Minneapolis con, which debuted in 2014, is among a series of Wizard World Comic Con events held around the country. These are similar to (but not affiliated with) bigger and better-known cons like San Diego Comic-Con International.
Such events are traditionally chockablock with nerds dressed like characters from comic books, science fiction, video games and the like … and Minneapolis Comic Con was no exception.
